Amicas cycling club is committed to supporting the cycling community in central Colorado. We organize regular group rides for all levels and spinning classes through the winter. We have adopted the first mile of HWY 291 and spend a few mornings a year picking up trash. And every spring we host an annual Gear Swap as a spring fundraiser. We are not just about road riding. The Amicas Cycling Club also can be found with shovel in hand building and repairing local mountain bike trails and testing their work.

Our big events every summer are: The Salida Omnium and Going Green 100. Check out the links for more info on these events. As a long range projects we are also committed to bringing a nordic ski center to the Arkansas Valley.
The club is open to anyone and we welcome new ideas and projects. Join us this winter for skiing!

Part of our budget goes to the Mentoring Program SCR Dream fund: money for activities, bikes and helmets.
Chaffee County Mentors provides one-to-one friendships to children in need of additional positive roll models in their lives. Local youth ages 7 to 15 years facing challenges academically, economically and socially are matched with responsible adult volunteers.
