The Race team consists of riders of all ability levels who volunteer their time in exchange for racing sponsorship. Our commitment to you the racer is based on your commitment to the club, not what category or how many times you win each summer!

• Provide at least 30 volunteer hours (minimum) promoting cycling in Chaffee County
• Volunteer at least three SCR events: Gear Swap, Salida Classic, Cottonwood Pass Hill Climb TT, FIBark MTB, Vapor Trail, Trash Pickup, Kids Events, Junior Racing Program and/or Salida Mountain Trails. Most volunteer shifts are 4 hours
• Participate in 10 regional road, mountain or cross races
• Attend club meetings and group rides
• Wear a helmet, show courtesy on the road and be a positive representative
• Download, read, and acknowledge the Team Contract (link at top) for sponsorship levels

• Racing Kit (consisting of Jersey/Short or Bib
• Race reimbursement and license fees.
• Gas reimbursement when traveling as team.
• Equipment discounts: bikes, wheels, shoes, helmets, tires, etc., when purchased as a team (dependent on time with team and voluteer levels).
• Training/Coaching
